Hi Vivek,
It's not possible to assign a new controlling area for an old company code if the company code has transactional data.
If the company code does not have any transactional data, then you can delete the assignment in previous controlling area and assign the company code to new controlling area.
You have to make sure that Fiscal Year Variant and Chart of accounts are same.
