External Candidate Server Integration with ECC + EREC
Hello Gurus,
We are on ECC6 EHP4 .
In our current project we did SAP EREC and SAP ECC configuration in same box.
But Now Client Security team has asked to separate 2 Systems specially for external candidate. Due to same we had installed another server with Only E-REC and Netweaver Component on which external candidate functionally works same as in Old Server..
We now have to connect the New External Candidate Server with Current ECC + EREC Server.
The New Server has to be used as front layer for external candidate
I am wondering if any one of you can guide on the ALE/RFC connections to be established between 2 systems to achieve following
1. External Candidate sees the Job Posted on Additional Server while Job is created in Old Server
2. He Appplies and Data is Saved in new or old ......I need guidance on this
3. When Recruiter Search he/she is able to see the external candidates as well
The Above 3 Functions I did read is possible - but your help is much required on ALE/REC connection betwen 2 Systemd

FIORI is a UI5 application.So , UI5 best practices are also applicable hence sharing the doc.
If there is no navigation from once screen to another screen(and if you are not expecting it in future ) , there is no point in keeping them as separate entity and consume them using odata association . Let it be a win-win design in terms of flexibility and performance .

Proxy Error while releasing Transport “No service definition found for interface
Hi All,
We are getting error "No servise definition found for interface &1" while releasing transport to Quality. Transport has all necessary objects which are needed for proxy.
Transport Flow :
Core system -------> Development Box ----------> Quality
Proxy is tested in Development box, all messages are flowing successfully.
Quick resolution is needed.

SAP BO Analysis for MS client SSO problem
Dear all,
We are trying to configure an SSO connection for Analysis workbooks storing at BI Platform.
We have a situation when user opens an Analysis workbook from BI Launchpad, then window appears prompting login credentials to BW. Our goal is open Analysis workbooks without any prompting.
We've checked SSO for WEBI reports and it works fine!
Our BI system version: 4.1 SP 5, patch 6
Analysis 1.4 SP 12
Our steps:
1. A keystore was configured and certificates were generated according to wiki document Generate keystore and certificate for SAP BO BI4.0 - Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects) - SCN Wiki
2. Imported sertificates into SAP BO and Netweaver (000 mandant) accoring to wiki document Import SAP BO BI4.0 certificate into SAP BW - Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects) - SCN Wiki
3. In SAP BO a STS was configured for Adaptive Processing Server according to wiki document Setting up SAP SSO using the Security Token Service (STS) - Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects) - SCN Wiki
4. Reload SIA (Server Intelligence Agent)
5. Profile parameters are:
login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
login/create_sso2_ticket = 1
6. SAP authentication was configured
7. Imported roles from BW and for Enterprise user configured BW aliases.
8. As data source for Analysis workbook we use OLAP-connections (type SSO).
Also we checked the system time on both the BOE and BW systems are the same according to the note 1834063.
Also there is KBA 1768868 - "What is SAP Business Objects Analysis and what SSO options are available" wherein said:
"There are two ways of using SSO with Analysis for MS Office:
1. Using the Analysis for Excel tool directly on a client machine using SNC (SNC needs to installed and configured on each client).
2. Integrating Analysis for Office tools with Business Objects. - In our case we should use this approach.
In this scenario, the Analysis for Excel reports are being saved in the Launchpad/Infoview.
The users login to the Infoview using the SAP login ID. Then theyopen the reports with SSO enabled.
In order to achieve SSO with Business Objects BI 4.0, the following criteria must be met :
a) SAP authentication should be configured - DONE.
b) In CMC set OLAP-Connections to SSO type - DONE.
c) With BI 4.0, the user doesn't need to own a user account in the BW system. They can use the login credential embedded with the data
source in Analysis.
Can somebode explaine с) point?
Do we need to configure a SNC between BO and BW?

Adobe Forms (SO10)texts not working properly anymore
Hi experts,
we recently did an upgrade at a customer and we have come across the folowing error.
We made some forms using Adobe Interactive Forms (SFP). We use SO10 texts to fill in the letters(the form gets filled in, then generates a letter using SO10).
What we have noticed is that since the upgrade, the SO10 text get random enters/line breaks. Even words are getting line-breaks in between.
This was all working without errors before the upgrade, so my guess is I need to look for some issue there. But after a day of looking and searching, i have yet to come across anything. I've alo found no posts simillar to my problem at SDN.
So if anyone has any idea, please help.

No, i have not maintained these parameters as nowhere in the installation document discussed about these parameters.
Where do i need to maintain these parameters, it is in DEFAULT profile?
I have installed SAP Help in a seperate file system mounted on a linux server, so what should the value of DOCROOT (Should it be the path of Installation directory rather than /usr/sap).
Also, in the installation document, if we use plainhtmlhttp, we have give port along with host name. Am confused which port to give.
Please suggest.

Re: PPDS PDS selection based on plant and shipping point in sales order
Hi Peter,
If you have a sales order for a material X in delivering plant A and another sales order for same material X in delivering plant B itself means that you would have separate PPDS PDS for both plants.
This means you will create BOM & routing along with production version in plant A and CIF PPDS PDS to APO. Likewise you will create BOM and routing (along with PV) in plant B and CIF PPDS PDS to APO with your integration model.
Now if you receive a sales order in plant A, automatically PPDS PDS in plant A would be exploded. Same is applicable for plant B. Shipping point is assigned to plant which anyways is different in both plants which have already exploded PDS accordingly.

I would recommend upgrading your BI 4.1 to SP5 or better. You are using the latest features of Mobile but the BI Platform is much older version.
Other Information:
- What Tablet are using ?
- What OS level is the Tablet running ?
- How much memory of Tablet? (Recommend min 32Gb)
Also did you try to un-install and re-install the Mobile application?
